WARRANTY COVERAGE BY SERVICE
Garage Door Repair (general)
- Labor Warranty: 30 days
- Parts Warranty: 90 days or manufacturer warranty, whichever is longer
Spring Replacement (torsion or extension)
- Labor Warranty: 30 days
- Parts Warranty: 1 year on springs (standard cycle rating)
Cable Replacement
- Labor Warranty: 30 days
- Parts Warranty: 90 days
Opener Repair
- Labor Warranty: 30 days
- Parts Warranty: 90 days on parts installed by us
Opener Installation (new unit)
- Labor Warranty: 90 days
- Parts Warranty: Manufacturer warranty (typically 1-3 years depending on brand and model)
WiFi Opener Installation
- Labor Warranty: 90 days
- Parts Warranty: Manufacturer warranty (typically 1-3 years)
New Garage Door Installation
- Labor Warranty: 1 year
- Parts Warranty: Manufacturer warranty (see Clopay section below for specific coverage)
Insulation Installation
- Labor Warranty: 90 days
- Parts Warranty: 1 year on materials
Tune-Up and Maintenance
- Labor Warranty: 30 days on adjusted components
- Parts Warranty: Not applicable
CLOPAY MANUFACTURER WARRANTY - NEW DOOR INSTALLATIONS
When Garage Service Today installs a new Clopay garage door, the door itself is covered by Clopay Corporation manufacturer warranties in addition to our labor warranty.

- Lifetime Limited Warranty - Models T40 and 94

- 10-Year Limited Warranty - All Models
Hardware Warranty
- 3-Year Limited Warranty - All Models
Important notes on Clopay warranties
- Clopay manufacturer warranties are separate from and in addition to Garage Service Today labor warranties.
- Manufacturer warranties are subject to Clopay Corporation terms and conditions.
- We will provide you with the specific Clopay warranty documentation at the time of installation.

Other Door Brands
If your installation involves a brand other than Clopay, we will provide the applicable manufacturer warranty documentation at the time of installation. Coverage varies by brand and model.
WHAT IS COVERED - GARAGE SERVICE TODAY LABOR WARRANTY
- Defects in workmanship - if a repair or installation fails due to an error by our technician, we will return and correct it at no charge within the warranty period.
- Defective parts - if a part we installed fails within the warranty period under normal use, we will replace it.
- Return visits to address issues directly related to the original scope of work, within the warranty period.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED - the following void or limit our labor warranty
- Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or accidental impact such as a vehicle striking the door.
- Repairs or modifications made by anyone other than a Garage Service Today technician after our service.
- Normal wear and tear beyond the warranty period.
- Damage caused by weather events, flooding, hurricanes, or other acts of nature.
- Failure to perform recommended maintenance such as lubrication and balance checks as outlined in your door care manual.
- Pre-existing conditions visible at the time of service but not included in the agreed scope of work.
- Cosmetic issues such as scratches, dents, and paint fading that do not affect function. Paint warranty claims on new doors should be directed to the manufacturer.
- Issues arising from power surges or electrical problems not related to our installation.
- Use of oil-based paint on steel doors. Clopay requires latex exterior paint only.
HOW TO FILE A WARRANTY CLAIM
For Garage Service Today labor claims call or text (941) 955-9441.
Step 1 - Tell us your name and service address, the date of your original service, and a description of the issue.
Step 2 - We will schedule a return visit at no charge if the issue falls within the warranty period. We aim to respond within 1-2 business days.
Step 3 - Our tech or office will inspect and complete the repair at no cost if it meets coverage criteria. If outside scope, we quote before doing any work.

TRANSFERABILITY
Our labor warranty applies to the original customer and service address only. It is not transferable to a new property owner. Clopay manufacturer warranty transferability is subject to Clopay Corporation terms - contact Clopay directly for details.
DISPUTE RESOLUTION
If you have a concern about a warranty decision, please contact us directly. We are a family-owned local business and we take every customer concern seriously. Disputes that cannot be resolved informally are subject to the laws of the State of Florida and the jurisdiction of Sarasota County courts.
