These Terms of Service govern your use of www.garageservicetoday.net and any services provided by Hutchins & Hutchins Corp, operating as Garage Service Today. By requesting a quote, scheduling service, or using our website, you agree to these Terms.
1. Services Offered
Garage Service Today provides residential garage door services in Sarasota County and surrounding areas, including:
- Garage door repair (panels, cables, rollers, hinges)
- Spring repair and replacement (torsion and extension)
- Garage door installation (new doors and replacements)
- Garage door opener repair and installation
- WiFi-enabled opener installation
- Garage door insulation
- Tune-up and maintenance services
- Garage door consulting
- Garage door accessories
All services are performed by licensed technicians under FL Contractor License #CRC1334352.
2. Estimates & Pricing
Estimates are provided free of charge by phone or on-site evaluation. Our typical service price ranges are:
- Garage Door Repair: $79 - $450
- Garage Door Installation: $1,495 - $25,000
- Opener Repair: $79 - $189
- Opener Installation: $79 - $209
- Insulation: $895 - $1,295
- Consulting: $79 - $160
- Tune-Up / Maintenance: $60 - $149
- Spring Repair: $200 - $700
- WiFi Opener: $699 - $1,295
Final pricing depends on parts required, labor time, and scope of work. You will be given a quote before any work begins. No work will proceed without your approval.
SERVICE CALL FEE: A service call / trip fee may apply depending on your location and the nature of the request. This fee will be communicated to you at the time of booking. The service call fee may be applied toward the cost of completed repairs.
3. Scheduling & Appointments
- Appointments are scheduled by phone at (941) 955-9441 or through our website request form.
- We serve Sarasota, Bradenton, North Venice, and surrounding Sarasota County areas.
- We will make every reasonable effort to arrive within the agreed service window. Delays will be communicated as soon as possible.
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling
- We ask for at least 4 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.
- Same-day cancellations without notice may result in a service call fee.

5. Payment
- Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- We accept cash, check, and major credit cards.
- For large installation projects, a deposit may be required prior to ordering materials. This will be disclosed in your written estimate.
- Returned checks are subject to a $35 returned check fee.
6. Customer Responsibilities
- Please ensure the service area (garage, driveway) is accessible and cleared for our technicians upon arrival.
- An adult (18+) must be present at the property during the service visit.
- Please disclose any known hazards, prior damage, or unusual conditions before work begins.
7. Limitation of Liability
Garage Service Today carries General Liability Insurance ($1,000,000 per occurrence / $2,000,000 aggregate) and Workers' Compensation coverage. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for pre-existing damage, consequential damages, or losses arising from failure to disclose known issues prior to the service visit.
8. Service Area
Our primary service area includes Sarasota, Bradenton, North Venice, and the greater Sarasota County region in Florida. Service outside this area may be available upon request and may carry an additional travel fee.
9. Website Use
The content on www.garageservicetoday.net is for informational purposes only and does not constitute a binding contract until a quote is agreed upon. You may not use our website to scrape, copy, or reproduce content without written permission.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Sarasota County, Florida.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
